Add some baking soda to the 8 cups of warm water and put your now clean shiny lemons in it. Let them sit there for about an hour so that they can soak in the baking soda. Once that’s done, wash the parsley, cut it and the lemons up, and throw the two in the water.
Don’t remove the peel from the lemons, it has its own important nutrients too! Let the water come to a boil, and then leave it on low heat for about 3 hours. After that, turn off the heat and let it cool. If you’ve done everything right, half of the water should evaporate. Strain your soupy concoction, put it in a glass bottle or jar, and keep it in the fridge overnight. Drink 2 ounces of it first thing in the morning, wait for about 30 minutes, and then enjoy some breakfast!

Chewing gum helps you focus, sharpens your memory, reduces stress, and balances your hormones by raising your cortisol levels.
If you usually try to hold your farts in, you might wanna stop doing that. Holding the gas in can easily cause abdominal pain and bloating.
Biting your nails helps your body register the bacteria you get off your nails in its memory bank, so if you encounter a certain strand again, you’ll already have the lymphocytes capable of beating it.

Howard Schulz, founder of Starbucks, was inspired by the atmosphere of Italian espresso bars and it’s safe to say that he was the one who made the espresso-based beverages popular in the US. Now you can find a Starbucks almost anywhere in the world.
Amancio started his business in the ’70s: He made nightgowns and bathrobes with his wife right in their living room. Once, their German partner declined a huge order and the spouses decided to sell clothes on their own. Later, the company was renamed to Inditex and opened new clothing stores: Massimo Dutti, Pull and Bear, Oysho, Zara Home, Uterqüe, Stradivarius, Lefties, and Bershka.
In 2000, the famous Pandora charm bracelet was created: buyers were able to create jewelry of their own design by putting the charms they wanted on the bracelet. Since then, the company has been growing and the Enevoldsen family are one of the richest people in Denmark.
In 1969, the musicians from The Doors were recording the album Morrison Hotel. At about the same time, they accidentally came across a diner named Hard Rock Cafe, and their album was exactly in this music style. They made a few pictures in this cafe and then put the photos on the back side of the album cover. A year later, 2 Englishmen called them — Isaac Tigrett and Peter Morton and asked them to let them open a cafe in London named Hard Rock Cafe.
At the beginning of the 1930s, Ole Kirk opened a company that made ironing boards and ladders, but he soon started making wooden toys. The word “Lego” consists of 2 Danish words: “leg” (play) and “godt” (good).

And, of course, where there’s bacteria and broken skin, there can be infections and health problems, so it’s not just all about aesthetics here.
There’s actually a guy named Rob Greenfield who went a whole year without showering.
According to the experts, there are a couple of tips that you should follow in order to shower the right way. Make sure the water temperature is not too hot because hot water will suck the moisture from your skin by removing a lot of your natural oils. Long showers can dry out your skin as well. Having two or three showers a day will do the same thing, so it’s not that great of an idea either. Instead of lathering up your entire body, it’s better to just stick to the areas with a bunch of sweat glands, such as your armpits, groin, underneath the breasts, and wherever else you tend to sweat a lot.

The Only Way to Escape a Broken Elevator

Many of us are afraid of getting stuck in an elevator, it’s an especially scary situation for people with claustrophobia. To stay calm and safe in an emergency situation like this, there are some simple safety rules or lifehacks that are serious DOs and DON’Ts to be aware of.
If you start freaking out, you can experience oxygen deficiency since elevators aren’t exactly well-ventilated. You certainly don’t want that, so try your best to breathe normally. Don’t do anything stupid, like jumping up and down, because it won’t magically kick-start the elevator into working again. In fact, it’ll only affect the car’s stabilizer system and make it more difficult for you to get out safely.
Nowadays almost every smartphone comes equipped with a built-in flashlight, and most of us have our phone on us at all times. If you have a flashlight keychain, that’s pretty useful too. Light may calm down the sense of panic and help you navigate better since it’ll at least help you see the buttons.
As you’re waiting for help, try thinking of a list of things you need to do or how to rework your schedule to fit in this minor setback. If you still can’t distract yourself and can’t help but feel scared and hysterical, try a little meditation. Just breathe in, clear your mind, and try to relax as much as you can.
Try the “open door” button. And if they won’t budge after that, hit the “stop” button. If it’s stuck, pull it out and press it again.
If you happen to find yourself in a free-falling elevator, there’s hope, too. A great idea is to cover your face with your arms. You see, when the elevator hits the bottom of the shaft, it’s very likely to break into pieces. So protecting your face from falling debris can ensure the absence of any possible injuries.

-Mix half a cup of water, half a cup of vinegar and a few drops of tea tree essential oil. Spray it in all corners and wardrobes in your home to get rid of spiders.
-To get rid of bedbugs, add 10 drops of eucalyptus essential oil into a cup of water, shake well, and pour into a spray bottle. Spray your mattress and bedding to scare bedbugs away.
-The easiest and safest way to get rid of stink bugs is to use garlic spray. Mix 2 cups of water with 4 teaspoons of garlic powder, shake well and spray all the plants and areas around your windows to keep them away.
