Table tennis legend scores EPIC final point before retiring

Jean-Michel Saive, 49, is known as Belgium’s best table tennis player after a career that spanned three decades saw him ranked number one from 1985 until 2011. And in this two-minute video Mr Saive (facing towards the camera) shows how he held his title for so long. Playing against Julien Meurant (facing away from the video) in Belgium on May 9 Mr Saive finishes his career with a hard won point after a seemingly never-ending rally. As Mr Meurant strikes the ball low across the table Mr Saive’s racket meets the ball every time, flinging the ball back high over the table. The two seem locked in an unbreakable cycle.
